An effective way to remove ticks from pets and people, the Beaphar Tick Removal Kit safely removes ticks, and is an essential complete kit containing a specially developed TickBoy® and Tick Away treatment.

Ticks carrying disease are found across the UK  in both town and countryside.  They can be very small and can go unnoticed, so it is important to check for ticks on a regular basis.  It is also important to remove a tick as soon as it is discovered, as the longer a tick is left on a host, the more likely it is to pass on disease.

Small and compact, the Beaphar Tick Removal Kit contains Tick Away and TickBoy®, perfectly sized for when you’re out and about and for when you’re at home.  Tick Away is a non-toxic spray that freezes ticks for easy removal.  The TickBoy is a specially developed tick remove, featuring a v-shaped hook which exerts no pressure on the body of the tick, helping to prevent it regurgitating into the affected animal. It is suitable for all sizes of tick, and allows them to be removed quickly and efficiently.

How to Use: To safely remove a tick, part the fur to expose the tick and spray Beaphar Tick Away from a distance of 5cm for approximately 3 seconds. In some cases the tick will fall off automatically. If it doesn’t, follow the steps below.

1. Slide the red cover of the Beaphar TickBoy® all the way back.
2. Put the V-shaped hook against the skin and slide the groove between the skin and tick.
3. Carefully pull the tick up to remove. Ensure all parts of the tick are removed

The wound made by the tick bite must be thoroughly disinfected. If there are any concerns over infection, it is important to contact your vet or doctor as soon as possible.
